Leadership Development

This program is recommended if

the feedback received from the staff of an organization indicates that they are dissatisfied with how they are being treated by their leaders;
the leaders of the organization wish to shift their leadership practices to a single common platform.

The program

In many organizations, internal conflicts and recurring management and operational problems have their roots in the fact that there are unclear leadership rules harbored by the leaders, or that such rules are not uniformly accepted or applied by the leaders. In addition to recurring arguments, it leads to insecurity and lowered activity of subordinates, as well as substandard service levels. Developing and implementing a common leadership culture can be used to avoid or remedy such situations.
As the first step in the program, the major values kept by the organization are defined by the senior management. Values are defined in a manner relevant to the organization at hand, and are interpreted in terms of actions and behaviors.
In the second phase, the values defined by senior management are processed and interpreted by the other levels of management, jointly agreeing on how these values should manifest in day-to-day operation.

The following aspects need to be addressed in the course of the program:

the management should receive feedback about the level of acceptance and enforceability of the planned approach, so that it can make the necessary changes;
members of the senior management should reach consensus on the values governing the operation of the organization;
the same image should be conveyed to all stakeholders of the organization;
the expected behavior should be acceptable and practically viable for the members of the organization.
