Individual Leadership Competence Assessment

This program is recommended if

you want to recruit the best possible person for a senior executive position and want to make a well-founded decision;
you want to assess the skills - for the purpose of training and development - of a person already in a senior position and examine how much he/she is competent for the specific job, .

The program

Candidates are assessed in terms of various competences to see where their strengths lie and which aspects need improvement. Using a behavior-based approach, we focus on providing both the candidates and the employers with unbiased information based on what the candidate did and did not do during the program. We do not draw any conclusions from this, however; rather, we let the employers draw their own conclusions from the observed behavior, both on their own and together with the candidate. The candidate and the employer will then receive a detailed written report on which of the competences assessed can be identified by the competence assessment program as the candidate’s strengths, and which are the ones that need improvement.

During the program,

we gain insight into how the candidate’s leadership skills manifest themselves in difficult, often stressful situations;
after a short time, the complexity and strenuousness of the situation will bring out real-life reactions and responses, or ones very close to real life;
the candidates have a level playing field, as individual performance is assessed through individual tests to avoid the distortions caused by assessing a group;
the number of observers (4-6) helps avoid subjective distortions.
